For those who don’t know him, first he is real named Abolaji david banjoko and born on 30th September but the year of his birth has not being stated. He hails from ojebu, Ogun state, nigeria.
Beejay sax is a graduate of mechanical engineering from olabisi onabanjo University, who passed through Caleb international college years back.
Due to his strong Christian ethics, he got into full time gospel music by using his talent to serve God.
Though he started at a very tender age and this gave him the courage to be at stage ministring the gospel of Christ to people through his saxophone.
However, beejay sax is known for his live concerts which is tagged “BEEJAY SAX LIVE” and the turnout for the event is always massive.

Moreover, beejay sax has an album tagged “marvelous God” and most of the songs he has released are leaping up which he did alongside hallelujah records team.

3. Mike Aremu
The top gospel saxophonists in Nigeria will not be complete without mentioning the energetic saxophonist that has been working for God.
Mike Aremu as information may have it started playing musical instrument at the age of 8 years at his local church in Niger state.
Moreso, he is an afro jazz player that draws his sounds from traditional vibes.
Mike, has been in the industry for 20 years and as report may has it that he started with kennis music, a record label that he had contract with and stay with them for four years before signing out.
Though, he released two albums during his deal in the year 1999 and 2002. They are tittle (Dance and no shaking).
Moreso, he has released three more albums to add to it like (unveiled in 2005, coat of many colurs in 2013, and sound of the spirit (SOS) in 2020).
Most of his popular songs are ( you are Yahweh, ogo, vow, hallelujah, not a man, oluwa ku ise, nara, she sheke, awesome God, 10,000 reasons, prayer, ki lo O lese, with you lord, great physician, I go Worship my God, holyghost fire, akowaba, araba, odi onye dikagi, I will lift up Jesus, mimo, when I look into your holiness, hossana, you do mighty things, Gashi na/ malaiku sama, I need you every hour) and he did some worship and praise medley as well, all which are from his albums.
However, Mike aremu in 2019, celebrate a 20 years anniversary musical event where he invites top gospel musicians like Tim Godfrey, tope Alabi and so on for the event.
Due to his desire to serve God with his talent, he has been nominated for many awards and won some like (African Gospel Music Award, AMEN award for best intrumental album of the year and best Gospel music video of the year, for Today’s Gospel Music Award).
He also won crystal award in 2014 for best use of instrument and so many others that we wouldn’t mention out here.
For you to also know, he has performed in the experience Lagos in the year 2018 at the tafawa balewa square, one of the biggest concert with over 500,000 voices lifting God in praise yearly. His ministration was so filled with God’s power.
Although that was not his first time on the experience, he has grace the stage in 2006, 2009, 2010 and coming back in 2018 which was so electrifying.
Moreover, According to Thenet.ng mike Aremu got married to his long time fiance called omolara, a teacher to the deaf children in England at the year 2011.
The wedding was a private one, even after they had their marriage at ikoyi registry in Lagos in the 23rd june of the same year.
It was also known that the Marriage was the second he had after he splited with his former wife called bimbo who is based in UK.
